PE and Sport Premium

Allocation and Spending 2016/17

We were allocated £8150.00 PE funding.
This was spent on:
- Professional sports coaches to deliver high quality P.E and to help in the upskilling of the teaching and support staff.
These coaches also provided zero cost after school clubs for three days a week. They provided multi-skill training, football, rounders and athletic activities.
- Allowed access to school competitions within Link 77
- Entry to the Prestwold Cross Country and the running of a cross country club
- Additional resources for PE and Outdoor Learning sessions as requested by our Sports Specialists to support the PE curriculum

The success of this funding and the impact on the children's education and well being was measured through;

* Direct feedback by staff on the quality of support offered by the Sports Specialists

* Continued low levels of behaviour and medical problems at play times and lunch times

* Evaluation of the teaching of Physical Education lessons taught by both Sports Specialist and Class Teachers
