WEEKLY NEWSLETTER - December 14th 2011
Christmas Assembly
Just a reminder about the Christmas Assembly which is being held at the Village Hall tomorrow starting at 2pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Peter Pan
A huge ‘THANK YOU’ to F.O.S.S for organising the performance of Peter Pan last week. We have heard very good comments about the performance.
Christingle Service
Next Tuesday afternoon (20th December), the children will be going to the church for a Christingle Service which will start at 2.15pm. All are welcome to join us.
Change of Date - Christmas Lunch
Just a reminder that F.O.S.S members will be cooking Christmas Lunch for the children at the Village Hall next Thursday so they will not need to bring lunch to school. Thank you F.O.S.S!
Assemblies
Please note that with so much happening in school, we will not be holding Assemblies this week or next. They will start again after the Christmas break, dates to be confirmed.
PE Kits
As you are aware, we are hoping that after Christmas all children will have an outdoor P.E. kit in school colours.
Could you please also ensure that your child has a pair of plimsolls in school as all classes will be doing gymnastics in PE at the village hall and we have been asked by the Village Hall Committee that children do not do PE in outdoor shoes. Thank you.
Last day of term - Friday 23rd December
Please remember that children can be picked up from school next Friday at 12.00 if you wish. Obviously staff will be here all day and so children can be picked up at the normal time of 3.15pm if you prefer.
