The Great Egg Race and Easter Hat Competition
Don’t forget, we will be holding the great Egg Race and Easter hat competition in the Village Hall next Friday 26th March. We aim to start at 9.30am. The egg mobiles will be made in school next week in Classes 2 and 3 and the hats in Reception and Class 1.

If any adults want to join in please come along with your own creation and take part. Remember this year we only have one class for pushed vehicles.

Class 1 Toys From the past
The children had a great time on Monday with a great selection of old toys and clothes brought in by a visitor with an amazing name – another Mr Miller! Thank you to all parents for entering into the spirit of the day and providing a snack in brown paper and dressing up the children for the occasion.

RAWTV
Some students will be in from Rawlins RAWTV on Monday to start filming our prospectus DVD. As soon as it is finished I will distribute copies to all of you.

End of Term
We break up for Easter next Friday 26th March at 3.15pm. We return to school on Monday 12th April.

School Start Time
Please remember that school registration starts at 8.50am so that we can start lessons promptly at 9.00am.

We are constantly trying to increase children’s independence as they progress through the school and it would be very helpful if children from Class 2 and 3 could be allowed to come into school and put their things away on their own. This also enables the children to know exactly where everything they need is and reduces their anxiety when they are trying to find things later in the day. We would be very grateful for your help in achieving this.
