Assembly 12th March
Please note that there will not be an assembly in school this afternoon.

Class 2 Residential Visit
The Class 2 residential visit to Quorn Hall will be taking place in May after receiving a positive response from the majority of parents. If you have not already done so, could you please send a deposit of £10 per child into school next week? A more detailed Itinerary will be sent out nearer the date.

Parents Evening
Parents evening took place this week and went really well. We would like to thank all parents for attending, and also for your very positive comments on the changes to the school.

Victorian Toys and Games
Following their visit to Donington le Heath Manor House, Class 1 will have a visitor in school next week. Mr Miller (not me!!) will be bringing Games and Toys from the past into school.

FOSS Easter Disco
Just  a reminder that F.O.S.S are organising an Easter Disco on 26th March at the Village Hall which will run from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

Tickets are £2.50 each and are available from the School Office. This Disco is open to siblings under the age of 14 years, but please remember that an adult will need to stay with any Reception children for the event.

Last Day of Term
We will be holding ‘The Great Egg Race’ and an ‘Easter Hat Competition’ in the Village Hall on the morning of 26th March. The Egg race will be for the children in Classes 2 and 3, and the Hat Competition for the children in Reception and Class 1.

The children will be making their hats and Egg Mobiles in school during the earlier part of the week. More details will follow next week.
