FRIDAY NEWSLETTER - February 12th 2010
Half Term 
Don’t forget we break up for half term today and the children do not return to school until Tuesday 23rd February as we have a staff training day on the Monday.
The Wanderer Returns!
I am pleased to say that Miss Spencer has been let out for good behaviour! At last her jury service has finished and she is back in school. I know we are all pleased to see her, especially her class who actually cheered and clapped as she walked into school on Wednesday afternoon.
Clubs 
Don’t forget the following clubs are now running:
Tuesday 3.15 until 4.15pm – Running Club – Years 3, 4, 5 and 6.
Tuesday lunchtime 12.30 until 1.00pm – Drawing Club – run by Will and Larna for Year 1.
Wednesday 3.15 until 4.15pm – Tag rugby Club – Years 4, 5 and 6.
Thursday 3.15 until 4.15pm – Mandarin Club – Years 4, 5 and 6.
A letter will be sent out in the first week after half term for Construction and Puzzle Club which will be open to Years 2 and 3.
Parents Evening 
Letters will be going out after half term with details about parents evening. This will be held on Wednesday 10th March and we will run this from 2.00 until 6.00pm.
Lining Up 
Well done to Class 2 for winning the award for the best lining up after playtimes. The winning Class gets an extra 5 minutes playtime.
And Finally.... 
All the staff would like to thank all the parents that give up their time to come into school to help make the children’s educational experience that much richer. Your support is really appreciated.
