FRIDAY NEWSLETTER - January 29nd 2010
Haiti Appeal
In order to support the appeal for the tragedy in Haiti we are going to have a non-school uniform day next Friday 5th February. We are asking for a minimum donation of 50p. Thanks for your support.
Prescription Medicine
It has come to my attention, after recent First Aid Training, that we should only be administering medicines prescribed by the doctor. If a parent or carer feels that their child requires non-prescribed medicine during the school day then they should come into school to administer this. If, on rare occasions, a situation arises that you feel your child will require non-prescribed medicines and you cannot get into school to administer please come and see me.
December Tote Winners
The winners of the December Tote were:
1st place - number 23 Marlene C
2nd place - number 32 Mrs Poole (she didn’t pull out the numbers herself!)
3rd place - number 63 Mrs Gould
Wild Card
Don’t forget that next Friday, after school, Roy Porter will be available, from about 3pm to sell the Wild cards. Details of the Wild Card will be given at tomorrow's WOW assembly.
Refurbishment
Finally the painters, artists and delivery men have finished! The library is looking great as is Class 1 and the stairs. If you have a moment pop in and have a look. The children think that the spaces are now fantastic and the library is up and running again. We are going to give children the opportunity to use the library at set lunchtimes.
Mrs Voss
We will be holding an assembly for Mrs Voss next Friday 5th February at 9am to celebrate her retirement and to thank her for her work at Seagrave over the years. All are welcome to attend.
There will be no afternoon assembly on this day.
