Christmas Craft Afternoon
On Friday 1st December the school held a Christmas Craft Afternoon. Parents, grandparents, siblings and carers joined Monkey class during this afternoon.
We had a series of activities going on and the children rotated around the classrooms to get an opportunity on each activity. There Christmas spirit was well on its way with lots of cookies, marshmallows and Christmas music.
The adults and children also took part in some Christmas sports games which were held by Mr. Barley.
The naughty and nice elves celebrated their achievements and some were not happy with their defeats!
A big thank you to all of the adults who joined Monkey class during this afternoon. We hope you enjoyed yourselves
The children enjoyed a Christmas lunch in Monkey class with their friends. Christmas music was booming in the classroom whilst they enjoyed their meals with Mrs. Syer, Mrs. Bint, Mrs. Jackson, Mr.Green and myself.
The struggle was evident whilst opening the crackers but Monkey class love a good challenge. There was success at the end of it!
The children made their own Christmas crowns so that they could dine like royalty during the afternoon. To finish it off the children enjoyed watching the Pantomime of 'Goldilocks and the 3 Bears'.
An enjoyable afternoon was had by all!
Christmas Jumper Day
On Friday the 15th December 2017, Monkey class came to school in their Christmas jumpers to support the ‘Save the Children’ charity. The children also designed their own Christmas Jumpers for our class display.
What an excellent effort they all made!
They look amazing
Monkey class have produced some amazing homework based around our Autumn Term topic 'Superheroes'.
The children looked at real life superheroes.
Please take some time and appreciate their hard work and efforts.
