Bad Weather Guide
On a few occasions, we are forced to close the school due to severe weather conditions.
If you think that we may be closed listen to the following radio station. Please do NOT contact the radio station directly.
We will also leave a message on the school's answerphone as soon as we are aware of a closure.

School Nursing Service
The school nursing service gives support, guidance and advice as required on
• Bedwetting/soiling
• Behaviour management
• Healthy lifestyles
• Training school staff to support children with healthcare needs e.g. asthma, diabetes
• Height and weight programme for Reception and Year 6
• Sexual health and relationships
• Child safe guarding
• Immunisation programmes
To ensure good academic and all round development it is essential that your child has healthy sight, teeth and hearing.
Sight - We advise that you take your child for an eye test to an accredited optometrist. This is free.
Teeth - We also advise that your child visits the dentist at least annually. This is free.
Hearing - Your child’s hearing will be tested in school between Reception and Year 2.

Medicine Administration
There may be times when your child has been diagnosed as suffering from an illness but is still fit for school. If they require medicine to be administered during the day, please complete the Medicine Administration form and send it in to school.
