Autumn Term

AUTUMN TERM SEPTEMBER 2017

Stage coach drama school has returned to seagrave Village Primary school this year.  Jo Gallagher the principle of stage coach performing arts. At stage coach they teach the children from the ages of 4 - 18 singing, dancing and drams, but more importantly they build your childs confidence and skills for life.   This term the club will be running on Mondays after school 3.30pm - 5.00pm with a performance at the end of term for parents, carers and family to come and watch.  Letters have been sent out with all children, should you wish your child to participate, please contact the school office or email Jo Gallagher who will be able to inform you of the cost.  jogallagher@googlemail.com

We are pleased to be able to offer your child the chance to participate in clubs run by Football and Fitness.  Each club consists of a brief warm up, fun related games with the emphasis firmly on the children's enjoyment whilst they are learningStaying active and engaged throughout.  Players of all abilities, boys and girls are welcome.  Your child will need suitable clothing for these activities.  All the coaches are fully qualified and are CRB checked to further safeguard your child.

Clubs are listed below and all children have been sent home with a letter which must have the consent part completed and returned to the office with any monies due clearly marked Football and Fitness. These will then be forwarded to the relevant people.

 

WAKE UP SPORTS CLUB  ALL YEARS.  TUESDAY MORNINGS

MULTISPORTS CLUB YEAR 3 - 6 . TUESDAY AFTER SCHOOL

MULTISPORTS CLUB EYFS - YEAR 3. THURSDAY AFTER SCHOOL

 

Unfortunately due to lack of interest the above sports clubs have all been cancelled.

Finding Fitness will be running the free key stage 1 and 2 classes up to Christmas.

Key Stage 1 will be doing Fitness Club on a Monday after school from 3.30pm - 4.30pm. This club will run from Monday 30th October until Monday 11th December. Permission slips must be completed and are available from  the school office.

Key Stage 2 will be doing Kwik Cricket on a Wednesday after school at 3.30pm - 4.30pm.  This club will run from Wednesday 25th October until Wednesday 13th December.  Permission slips must be completed and are available from the school office.

 

We try to organise as many Clubs as possible because we believe that they enhance the children's time in school.

If you have any ideas for new Clubs, please let us know. We will consider all suggestions and try to implement them where possible and practical.

 

 

Lunchtime Clubs Running from Monday 30th October 2017 until the end of term.

 

  • Monday: Key stage 2 Boys Football Club on the Field . Outdoor P.E Kit and suitable footwear Must be worn.
  • Tuesday: Key Stage 2 Girls Football Club on the Field.  Outdoor P.E Kit and suitable footwear Must be worn.
  • Wednesday: Key Stage 2 Multisports Club. Takes place on the bottom playground . PE kit not necessary.
  • Thursday: Class 1 Football Club on the Field.  Outdoor PE kit and suitable footwear must be worn.
  • Friday: EYFS and Class 1 Multisports Club.  Takes place on the bottom Playground.  PE kit not necessary. 

These clubs are run by our PE coaches and are free to all children.
